THE BRIDE Here comes the bride all dressed in white With a Red train behind her The mother is crying The father is lying As she walks up to the coffin THE GROOM The groom lays upon the church floor A red flower blooming on his chest held by a bullet given by a wedding guest

 It was cold. That was all Eve could feel. He mind was in a fog. Was this heaven or hell. He teenage mind pondered. If this was hell it was colder than she thought it was going to be.  She blinked a few times and her mind cleared enough to see she was not on an astral plain but in a cryogenics  tube. Then her memories came back to her. The band of pirates who had created her. Created her to be a weapon.  Genetically altering her genes as an human embryo so she had telepathy and telekinesis. She had escaped them and stowed away on the spaceship Clear Water but the pirates had found her again captured her and put her on ice to keep her in check

 I look around my home.  It is orderly as usual.  My servants have done well today. I meander through the halls looking for something to do. Scratching up the door way sounded good but a nap sounded better.  So I jumped onto the large blue couch and sunk into the soft, fluffy cushions. I am about to fall asleep when I feel myself be pulled away from my spot and onto a lap.  "Hi Spaz," said the woman who had so rudely moved me from my spot.  I squirmed and stretched  in her lap attempting to get away, but she had a tight hold on me.  She began to run her manicured nails through my hair.  I quit trying to get away when she started to scratc
